LED lifespan claims should be read carefully. LEDs generally fade gradually rather than failing like incandescent filaments. A stated lifetime often refers to the point at which light output has declined to a specified percentage of its original level, not necessarily the moment the fixture goes dark.
Heat management has a real effect on LED life. Because integrated fixtures can be designed around heat sinking and ventilation, they can have an advantage in some forms. Can you replace an integrated LED light? Sometimes, but not always.

- Can the driver be replaced separately?

If an integrated fitting stops working, do not immediately assume the LEDs are permanently dead. Replaceable LED bulb fixtures are usually the better choice if you expect your preferences to change. You can move from 3000K to 2700K, reduce brightness in a bedroom, use a high-CRI bulb near a mirror, or switch between clear and frosted bulbs without changing the fitting.
This flexibility also helps when you want consistent light across several rooms. You can standardize bulb bases, color temperature, and output, then keep a small supply of matching spares.
Integrated fixtures are less adaptable once installed. If you later decide that the supplied light is too cool, too bright, too directional, or not dim enough, the solution may be a new fitting. Some models offer selectable color temperature or adjustable output before installation, but that is not the same as freely changing the light source later.
On the other hand, an integrated fitting can be the better visual choice when its design is integral to the room. A slim hallway ceiling light or a neatly recessed downlight can be less visually intrusive than a larger bulb-based fixture.
